Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Candidate Kit (the "Service"), provided by Elastic Mint Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11288579, registered office in England). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
Candidate Kit aggregates UK job listings from third-party job boards, scores them against criteria you set, and helps you track applications.
The Service does not send applications on your behalf. You retain control of every outbound action: you review and submit each application on the application page on the original site.
2. Closed beta
The Service is currently in closed beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. We may pause or end the beta at any time. We make no service-level commitments during the beta period.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at ck-hello@candidatekit.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to send unsolicited messages, scrape data we did not intend to expose, or otherwise circumvent rate limits and bot defences.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, probe for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or interfere with other users' access.
- Submit job applications that misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or right to work.
- Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or contains personal data of third parties without their consent.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. For severe or repeated breaches we may also share information with law enforcement.
5. Third-party content
Job listings shown in the Service are sourced from third-party job boards (Reed, Adzuna, Jooble and similar). Accuracy and availability of listings are the responsibility of the source. We do not endorse any employer or role.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the personal content you put into the Service (CVs, profile text, application notes). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and process this content for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your content to train any model.
7. Fees
During the closed beta the Service is free. After general availability, billing is monthly at the price displayed on the pricing page, charged through Stripe. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then.
Prices include VAT for UK consumers; VAT is itemised for UK business customers and for buyers outside the UK as required by applicable law.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these terms, with reasonable notice where the circumstances allow. On termination, we retain only the data described in the privacy notice.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be lawfully excluded.
Subject to that, our liability for any loss or damage arising in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (and to £0 if no fees have been paid).
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or for the actions of third-party employers, recruiters, or job boards.
If you are a consumer, your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, except that if you are a consumer in another part of the UK you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will email registered users at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
